Joe and Vicki Riedel
This is a mid-century modern project which is a total home renovation. How do you bring new life to the ugly duckling on the street? Taking cues from the surrounding context, we designed a new house on the existing foundations that captures the views of the stream and gorgeous ravine near Emoray University. A new private master suite makes you feel like you are on vacation at the lake, while the atrium opens the entire house to the afternoon light. It speaks to the verticality of the surrounding Georgia pine trees. We designed the interiors, custom furniture pieces and the landscaped entry courtyard. This project is going to be a feature story in Atlanta Magazine this summer.
"I love working and living in this house, it inspires me everyday" Joe Riedel
"Sassy and I love this contemporary ranch house, and we loved working with Bill-- he just does not visit us enough" Mimi (Vicki Riedel's mom)
