Description

Right behind Candler Park's yummy Flying Biscuit you will find salonRed. It used to be a dark dingy basement with almost no light. We were asked to design a spa and courtyard which was calming and like a retreat amongst the chaos of urban life. We spearheaded it through the permits and construction and it is now one of the most popular spa's in the city. salonRED staff have a real edge with lot's of piercings, funky hairdo's and full body tatoos. We like that.

Our idea was to place a shifted sculptural element holding the washrooms into the existing masonry frame of the building. The materials and lighting are serene, clean, modern and all about relaxation. We want to design more spas so call us.
